Today I’m celebrating the life of my dear friend, Catherine.
Apart from hopefully joining the on-site celebrations via Livestream later today (the Malmö contingent of her friends will gather at our place), I’m wearing the thing in my wardrobe that most remind me of Catherine and her approach to life:

The planet dress is made by me from a thrift store bed sheet. It has big, practical pockets and the colorful playfulness makes me happy every time I wear it.
And I will spend the day in the workshop stitching on what I’ve dubbed The Catherine Bird. It is my grieving project, each stitch a meditation on the inspiration, the support and the love for life that Catherine meant for me.
